Baby Powder Wax Melts
Everybody knows this scent! these baby powder candle melts are no exception because they capture the aroma just perfectly. You won’t be surprised to know that this scent is a firm favorite within our range. First of all, who doesn’t know what baby powder smells like? Secondly, baby powder wax tarts are one of the most blendable Wax Melts you’ll ever come across. At home, we love adding a bit of Lavender or even Dragons Blood wax to it to mix things up a little! A Mixology wax warmer is just perfect for this. Essentially, it is two burners in one. The dish is divided into two, in addition, there’s room to place two t-lights enabling endless possibilities! What are your favorite scent combinations? On its own, the complex powdery scent of baby powder is clean and fresh, despite having such an array of fragrances, I always return to baby powder wax melts. It’s that original type of fragrance, or staple scent, plus, it has a certain degree of nostalgia. It is instantly identifiable. For instance, lavender, is always lavender, dove soap is always dove soap, and rose, is always rose. There is no “whatever is that smell?” moment. You recognise it instantly and it’s so relaxing.
What is talc?
Talc actually comes from rock deposits. It is the softest mineral on earth and does not react to the skin. Despite common belief, due to its inert properties, it actually has many uses. Talc is an ingredient in some kinds of toothpaste, aspirin, and gum. It also has amazing softening properties that have been used since ancient Egyptian times. Many people who still use baby powder today, often make their own natural blend. We found a great recipe for a calming lavender chamomile blend. Lift your mood with our “baby powder” wax melts. Add a little or a lot depending on your room size. Browse our “Shot Pots” to sample our scents and switch to our larger “Snap Pots” once you’ve found your favorites! Wax Melts offer an affordable way to fragrance your home and give you that bit of pride when you open the door to your visitors.

What are wax melts?
Wax Melts, are an amazing alternative to scented candles, in addition to this, they are safer to use. First, they are fast melting. Pop one into your wax warmer, grab a cuppa and upon your return, your room has filled with fragrance. Finally, they’re so easy to use compared to candles because they require no wick trimming. As a result, they are essentially a wick-less candle. Our 6 segment snap pots are brilliant, just snap off a chunk or two, pop them into your wax approved warmer, and wait for the fragrance to fill your room. We find that two segments are just the right amount for our wax approved oil burner. Some wax warmers are operated by a tealight candle, however, in contrast to that, and my favourite choice, some are plugin. We have found during extensive testing that the scent lasts a little longer in electric warmers, but consequently throws a little stronger in tealight burners. In conclusion, heat or melt the wax to release the fragrance. Replace wax after the fragrance has completely diminished.
How much wax should I use?
Room size plays a massive role in the amount of wax that you use in your warmer. For large rooms with high ceilings, we recommend using ½ to a whole shot pot, (or 2 wax melt segments). For average/small room use ¼ to ½ (or 1 segment). How long do wax melts last? This depends massively on the wax warmer that you use so we wouldn’t like to have a guess, but if you don’t get a full 8 hours minimum, from each melt, please let us know so we can discontinue that particular fragrance as it does not pass our quality testing. If you’re not happy, then neither are we. What’s the size difference between snap pots and shot pots? Because our product is handcrafted, no two melts are ever the same, as a guide, shot pots are approximately 20g, snap pots approximately 47g
How do I remove old wax from my wax melter?
Easy! First, wait for your wax to solidify and completely cool. Next, turn on your wax warmer for 1-2 minutes, just long enough to melt the underside of the wax allowing it to slide right out.
